The Circus Workshops
On Tuesday the 19th we went to Strontian to a circus workshop. I liked the juggling best. I couldn’t juggle before. Hat trick made it look easy. First he told us to only use one ball. Then he said to juggle with two and drop them both close to you. When I did it they went miles away from me. I got them close after ages. After a while I caught the second ball. It felt much better to catch the ball than drop it. Then YES I caught both balls. I did it a few times that was good enough. After we had been there for an hour, we went to see around the new high school. We saw in all the classrooms and in the library, it looks amazing

Today we went to Strontian school to see a circus work shop and we got to use everything, like stilts. There was a man with green hair and his name was Charlie. I liked the unicycle but I fell off. I wasn’t good on the stilts.

At 9:00 we left the school to go to Strontian. We arrived at 9:45 and we went into the Primary School to see a circus workshop. Hat Trick and a new clown called Charlie, showed us all the moves and steps to use the things. When it was playtime, Ewan Mowat, Euan Laurie, Gordon, Oskar, Douglas, Jakob, Daniel and I played basketball, my team lost 8-6.
After playtime we went to the new High School it was brilliant!!! As we arrived back we saw the wee ones playing in the play park but we had to go in the school and get our packed lunches. After our lunch we went in the schools playground. The others played basketball but I played ball tag with the Strontian kids. After the lunchtime playtime, primary 6/7 went in the classroom to do some Christmas cards. I thought Ewan’s from Strontian was the best. At two o’clock we went through to have some fun. I was quite good at the baton and the ribbons. At three o’clock we left to go home on the bus.
CraigToday, we went to Strontian and saw some clowns and they had loads of things and it was fun. I played with the ribbons and I played with the spinning plates. I had a go on stilts. The playground was fun too but I didn’t have a go on the unicycle.

Circus Show
We had lunch at the play park I had ham sandwiches and an orange and when we had finished we played tag.I was only on twice but when I was about to catch someone it was time to go. When it was the p4 and 5 workshop, we went into the classroom to work with Mrs Campbell Elliott. We were making French Christmas cards. I don’t know who I will send my card to yet.
Then it was finally the P6 and 7’s turn to go on the equipment. My favourite things to go on were the unicycle, the stilts and spinning the rings on my finger. On the unicycle, I fell off about 6 times, it felt as if I was driving a car. On the stilts I felt as if I was a giant and finally the spinning the rings on my finger felt as if it was the Sydney games.
Through the whole day it was brilliant.

We went to Strontian school. We went to see a circus and we got a go on everything. There was a unicycle and some stilts and some spinning plates. I like the stilts best of all. There were some ribbons that spun around and round when you spun them. You spun them with sticks.
FloraTHE TWO MAN CIRCUS
Yesterday we went to Strontian Primary School to see a two man circus. When we got there we sat down on some seats that were set out on the floor and waited for the Strontian children to come in.
When they arrived Charlie and John demonstrated how to use all of the things that they were going to do. At two o’clock all of the primary six and primary seven went into the workshop to get a go on all of the different things.
The first thing that I did was have a go at juggling which I wasn’t very good at. Then I tried the unicycle. I got about a metre, which I was really pleased about. Then I went to the Diablo, which I had just about mastered, when John shouted it was time to go. I got quite annoyed but I was still really happy with what I had achieved before the day had ended.
